LISA L. POOLE is a former board member of the RAA. She grew up in Rockport and currently resides in Rockport. She was educated at Endicott College.

Lisa is a part-time staff photographer with the Associated Press and freelancer, primarily for The Boston Globe. Her photographs have been seen worldwide in publications such as Life, The New York Times and Stern. She has traveled to Iceland, Russia, Bhutan, Australia and 2,500 meters below the ocean’s surface in Alvin, Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution’s deep submersible research vessel. She was a member of a Pulitzer-prize winning team.
