PAUL LEVEILLE – In his studio nestled in the hills of Western Massachusetts, Paul Leveille paints the portraits of distinguished clients, both nationally and internationally.
He is a graduate of Vesper George School of Art in Boston, MA. He is a member of many art associations including the Copley Society, the Academic Artist Association, the Rockport Art Association, the Connecticut Pastel Society, the North Shore Arts Association, the Pastel Society of America, and the Portrait Society of America.
In addition to his portrait commissions, Paul teaches portrait painting workshops around the country and in his spacious studio at Open Square in Holyoke, MA. He has produced three instructional videos entitled Oil Portrait Demonstration, Pastel Portrait Demonstration and Watercolor Portrait Demonstration. He is also the author of three books . . . Drawing Expressive Portraits, Painting Expressive Portraits in Oil and Painting Expressive Portraits in Pastel, all published by Northlight Books.
Paul has also been featured in American Artist Magazine, April ’99; International Artist Magazine, December ’99; and Pastel Artist International, Sept/Oct ’01; and had a watercolor demonstration featured in American Artist Watercolor Magazine, June 2002. He also has written two articles for Artist Magazine’s ‘Drawing Board” section, Sept. 2002 and May 2004.
