Helen K. “Ditty” Mulry
My “Art Journey” commenced at an early age.
I vividly remember at the age of three, getting up from our dining room table, struggling a little to climb down off the big phone book I always sat upon. Walking past the buffet, I happened to look up at the painting.
Glaring down at me was Harvest at La Crau by Vincent Van Gogh. I was mesmerized as my eyes danced across the canvas.
I soon learned how art could transcend words, allowing another means of communication. Now with my life’s background in Fashion Design, Landscape Design and Silkscreen Design, I employ all these elements as I load color into my work.
My goal is to leave a bit of my soul in every piece of art I am able to create.
