Pamela Hibbard Giarratana
I began studying painting at Mass College of Art, then Pittsburgh Center for the Arts, endless workshops – and still learning!
Mainly an oil painter, painting from life is essential to my inspiration and my method of painting. The act of seeing intensely is the pleasure of painting for me, each painting is an experience remembered.
As a juried member of the Oil Painters of America, North Shore Arts Association, and Rockport Art Association I have exhibited in many juried shows at each venue and also national shows such as W&J Annual National, Hilton Head Art League, Cincinnati Art Club over the years. Also many regional shows such as the Cape Cod All New England Exhibit.
Currently living in Florida, I am learning to paint turquoise water and palm trees and have exhibited at the All Florida Juried show.
My artwork has been featured in two articles of American Artist Magazine, December ‘02 and June ‘03.
