I have a BFA in Painting from the Maryland Institute College of Art. My work is an intimate view of natural small landscapes, all done in acrylic on hemp canvas. The paintings, though realism, have an abstract feeling, as there is very little distance to be seen, and no horizon. I love lines and shadows, and bold color. My work has won many awards, including Best of Show at the Concord Art Association Francis N. Roddy Competition, and Best of Show from the International Society of Acrylic Painters.
