We will meander through the little streets and alleys of Rockport, and along the harbor, while sketching with ink and watercolor.
Join Emily for the day to learn techniques to simplify your sketches. Let’s capture the essence of this beautiful seaside village with its quaint streets, boats, and rocks.
Limited materials make for a simple drawing experience with tips and tricks for sketchbooking.
The workshop will be held indoors if it rains. All skill levels are welcome. Space is limited.
Suggested materials:
• Watercolor sketchpad
• Watercolor travel kit (or bring what you have!)
• Palette
• Varied watercolor brushes
• Ink pen (a fine Sharpie or disposable fountain pen) • Smooth rag or paper towel
• Vessel for water
• Stool
• Sunblock • Hat • Water for drinking
• Lunch (or can be purchased easily nearby)
